Aitana explodes after criticism of her last photo: "They bullied me at school for that"

Aitana Ocaña is currently the most famous pop artist in the Spanish music industry. The former Operación Triunfo 2017 contestant has managed, with effort and dedication, to carve out an important niche in music, as well as gain a significant legion of fans who support her against all odds.

A little over a month ago, the singer of Vas a querte, Telefono, Si tú la Quiero or Mariposas published her new album: Alpha. In this work, the young artist wanted to capture another part of her more mature, sexy and empowered personality, so she turned to a new, darker style and fused pop rhythms and sounds with electronic music.

Although the singer is immersed in her Alpha Tour and is touring the entire national geography, these days a controversy has arisen on the Internet around her physical appearance. Some time ago, Ocaña gave an interview to Vogue magazine and, in the publication that the media has now published, you can see the singer with her bangs tied up while she is being made up.

Although it may seem silly, social networks were flooded with memes and comparisons of the artist with iconic characters from our country, such as Kiko Rivera. ''What if Aitana and Kiko Rivera are the same person? Has anyone seen them together?" commented a user of the X platform (previously known as Twitter) with amusement.

Thousands of people commented on different networks how strange the artist looked without bangs, but they did not stop to think about how this would affect the girl's self-esteem. After more than 24 hours being one of the main social conversations, Ocaña wanted to nip the issue in the bud and has spoken out publicly.

The Catalan has briefly spoken about the controversial images of her face without bangs through a publication on Elon Musk's social network:  ''An edited image of mine is being circulated, I recommend that if you are going to judge something it is something real . I can also tell you that they bullied me at school for that and from there a great insecurity was created in me.''

''I feel safe today, but do not manipulate images,'' the artist stated on her official X account. After this comment, many Internet users apologized, as well as many others took advantage of the occasion to send her messages of encouragement. and darling.
