A couple recovers their house after 2 years fighting against their squatters

A married couple from Pilas, in Seville, has finally managed to get their home back, after more than two years fighting against the tenants who were squatting in their home. A fight that has left the Sevillians in ruins.

The morning program on Antena 3, Espejo Público, gave the news during the morning broadcast. The couple from the Sevillian town rented their home to a family, apparently without problems. But overnight the tenants stopped paying the monthly payments.

Two years after fighting against their tenants, Antonio and his wife have managed to evict the family, which has made life impossible for them during this time. The two were very happy about the news on camera with the document from the attorney detailing the victory.

''I did not see the moment, I did not see this moment. It is calm, that I have recovered my house and I am not happy because I am not happy, because they have put me through a lot, between threats and insults,'' confessed the owner. She also added that they were followed and that they were undesirable people.

The house was equipped with new furniture, utensils, mattresses, beds and appliances, ready to move into. ''It's very dirty, I'm missing a lot of things,'' he said to her about how the house had been left for him. One of the peculiarities of the squatters was that they had a very high standard of living. ''They have taken advantage of us,'' she claimed.

And it is that the family of tenants led a life with all kinds of privileges. They refused to pay rent but drove fancy cars and wore high-end clothes. At the time of the eviction, as confirmed by the owner, only the eldest daughter of the family was in the house and the other tenants tried to stop the eviction. After the events, the owner confessed that they do not plan to keep the house, because they have many years of mortgage left and after the altercations, they have not paid the installments because they are broke. ''I don't know how we're going to move forward,'' she confessed.
