30,000 signatures for the dog of a couple from Vitoria to wear the rings at their wedding: "Let's all three match"

Roberto and Conchi are two young people from Vitoria who will get married this Saturday and have collected signatures for a compelling reason: they want their dog Mak to be present at the wedding and also be in charge of carrying the rings. In total, they have collected more than 30,000 signatures to urge the local council to allow the mascot to attend.

Just a few hours before the big day, the couple appeared on the Telecinco program TardeAR to talk about their case and give the best news. And Mak will finally be able to be present at the ceremony, as they themselves confirmed: "Yes, he is going to the wedding," they said live.

After thanking the media who have echoed their request, the young people say they are not "nervous" despite the proximity to the date, and have given some details about whether their dog will be dressed in a special way like any other guest. to the wedding.

"Indeed, he is going to be special and very handsome, the three of us are going to match," Conchi told the presenter Beatriz Archidona, although she did not venture to give more information because "it is secret, like the bride's dress." "The important thing is that you see it and enjoy it at the moment," added Roberto, who wants "that the part of the ceremony wants to be in the privacy of the family, and then the photographers will give images" to the media.

In total, the couple has collected 34,000 signatures so that Mak could be at their wedding. "The only thing we asked at all times was to comply with the law, and that's why in the end we did all this ahead of time," he clarified, when asked if those signatures were the only motivation for his pet to be at the ceremony.

"The only thing we did not expect was all this repercussion, that there were so many signatures, and that we had all the support of the people and the media," Roberto concluded on the issue.
