The Kia Niro, a hybrid halfway between an SUV and a family car, has been chosen as the Best Car in the World 2023 by the journalists of the Women's World Car of the Year. The choice of the car from the Korean firm coincides with International Women's Day, a date that serves to vindicate the role of women in all areas, including mobility, with examples such as that of Irati Etxandi, a young woman from 23 years old who works as a mechanic in a workshop.
The 63 journalists from the motor world from 43 countries and five continents crowned the Kia Niro as the Best Car of the Year after testing dozens of models and evaluating each of its details. In general, they agreed that the benefits, functionality and the different engine options offered by the Kia Niro make it worthy of succeeding the Peugeot 308 in the list of winners.

The Kia Niro is an SUV that went on the market in 2016 and the second generation is currently being marketed. It is offered in hybrid, plug-in hybrid and 100% electric versions starting at 24,400 euros. It has a length of 4.42 meters and offers a spacious cabin, as well as the trunk, with a capacity of 475 liters.
