Eholo, the health technology startup located in the TecnoCampus, has recently closed a round of financing of €200,000, led by business angels from SeedRocket. This financing will be used to accelerate its growth and to expand into new international markets.

Eholo is a platform focused on psychologists that facilitates the management of administrative tasks, which helps to optimize time to be able to focus on patients.

The idea for this tool arose during the pandemic, when the psychologist Sonia Torras told the engineer and programmer Eduard Martí the administrative management needs that he needed to solve. In this way, a platform was born that was enriched with the contributions of other professionals in the sector.

Eholo's Software as a Service (SAAS) provides a wide range of functionality for mental health professionals. In addition to managing the calendar and billing, Eholo allows psychologists to manage medical records, patient files, prepare questionnaires and therapeutic contracts, among other functions.

All this with the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence technology for the creation of summaries of medical records and the transcription of audio and video calls. In addition, it facilitates online consultations.

In a short time, Eholo has recorded remarkable growth. Since its inception, the startup has gone from having no sales to serving more than 250 psychology clinics and having 13,000 active users on its platform in the month of June.

In addition, thanks to its payment gateway, psychologists have invoiced more than one million euros in the last year. These results, together with a recurring monthly growth of 15-20% in new subscribers since August 2022, have established Eholo as a reference startup within the mental health sector.

Now, with these newly acquired funds thanks to the financing round, Eholo intends to expand its team and improve its advertising strategy, with the goal of reaching an annual turnover of half a million.

The startup considered carrying out a financing round in January, which began in March coinciding with the Mobile World Congress and its participation in the 4YFN together with the TecnoCampus. Initially they got 95,000 euros, but entering the Seed Rocket program allowed them to reach financing of 200,000 euros. These funds will now go towards human resources to grow the company.

The company, explain the CEOs Sonia Torras and Edu Martí, hopes to reach a turnover of half a million euros by the end of the year and to be able to undertake international expansion starting next year.
