Miguel Induráin changes to Scott after 32 years with the same brand

On March 19, the breakup of one of the longest-running relationships in modern cycling was announced. Miguel Induráin and Pinarello ended a fruitful relationship of 32 years. In this period of time, the Navarrese managed to win four of his five Tours and the union left us bikes as iconic as 'la Espada' with which he achieved the hour record.

'El Extraterreste' has always been moved by sensations and after his last visit to Treviso he decided that Pinarello's values no longer represented him. The family brand he fell in love with is no longer what he was and the new idiosyncrasy did not sink in with 'Miguelón'. The best Spanish cyclist in history did not lack offers and this Monday he announced his new alliance: Scott has been chosen.

The North American brand has welcomed the five-time Tour champion, showing its enormous satisfaction for incorporating a figure like Induráin who, in addition to being a fantastic ambassador for the brand, will also use his material in competition from now on.

It will be in the Titan Desert next October when he debuts his new brand together with the Scale RC model. Induráin opens a new stage in which his relationship with cycling has changed a lot compared to that 1992 when he took his first steps with Pinarello. A new chapter in the history of 'Miguelón'.
