From this Saturday until next Sunday, May 21, Automobile Barcelona 2023 opens its doors to the public to become a meeting point between the 31 brands present at the fairgrounds and the more than 300,000 visitors expected by the organizers. Apart from seeing, getting to know and testing the cars on display in the 'boxes', among which there are 14 national novelties and another three worldwide, people who come to the foot of the Montjuïc mountain will be able to formalize the purchase of a car with the additional incentives that manufacturers offer during these days.
"The Automobile is an opportunity to put ourselves in the showcase and we are going to take advantage of it to offer very advantageous conditions to our customers," they explain from BYD, which is making its debut in Barcelona. The last two models launched by the Chinese manufacturer, the Seal and the Dolphin, join the also electric Atto, Tang and Han to configure a 100% sustainable range that marks the path towards the mobility of the future.
BYD offers a special discount of 2,420 euros for the Atto 3 Design and Dolphin Design models, which is added to the other offers valid for the rest of the cars. These additional benefits are the free delivery and installation of a domestic charger and the extension of the guarantee up to 6 years in operations closed until May 31.
The incentives that Dacia has in force during the celebration of the event are linked to the financing for the purchase of their cars. All credit operations count until May 21 with a supplementary financial aid of 300 euros on the conditions that the Renault Group brand already offers its customers. The 500 euros discount that Dacia offers on all financings becomes 800 euros during the Automobile and the 1,000 euros of the Flexible Plan, 1,300 euros.
Evo is one of the few brands present at Automobile Barcelona that does not lower the price of its cars during the event. "We have the car with the best value for money, what other promotion can we offer?" says a sales agent for the Italian firm. "The prices are very reasonable, there is no need to make offers of any kind," he adds. The only incentive that buyers of a vehicle of this brand will get is the immediate availability of the car and the first free service.
The Korean firm has a nationwide campaign in force to encourage the purchase of its models with discounts ranging from 300 to 1,000 euros. During the Automobile, it adds additional aid for operations that are closed in Barcelona of 300 euros for the purchase of a Picanto and up to 1,200 euros for two plug-in hybrid models: the Niro and the Sportage.
The Japanese company directs its promotion to the renting modality. For the first 100 operations formalized during Automobile Barcelona 2023, it offers a reduction in the monthly fee of between 32 and 46 euros until the end of the commitment. For the rest of the new contracts, the discount is between 16 and 24 euros. In addition, for all new hires it offers an additional bonus of 350 euros for fuel.
The incentives that Mercedes offers its customers are valid until June 30. The German manufacturer has the so-called Sustainable Aid Plan in place to facilitate the change to 100% electric mobility. It consists of a discount of 6,000 euros for cars in the EQS range; 4,500 euros for the EQE range; and 3,000 for the EQA, EQB and EQC ranges.
To this bonus on the final price must be added a series of gifts. Mercedes gives buyers of its electric models car insurance and the charger and its installation. Also give away the Advantage and Night packages with the AMG Line package. The star brand recalls that the Moves Plan is also in force with financial aid of up to a maximum of 7,000 euros.
From the brand of the rhombus they inform that during the Automobile those who purchase one of their cars will obtain a "differential" discount with respect to the conditions offered by their dealers. "Depending on the model chosen and whether the operation is cash or financed, the discount is around 1,500 and 2,000 euros." Renault ensures that the majority of models are available, having released the stock from all over Spain.
Seat offers special conditions to purchase a new model. The Spanish brand, which is celebrating its 70-year history with an exhibition at its stand, is giving its customers a discount of 300 euros in addition to the current campaigns offered by the brand, applicable directly at any dealer in the SEAT network in Catalonia. These special conditions will be in force until the closure of Automobile Barcelona, on May 21.
Tesla does not offer financial incentives to those who opt for one of its electric models during the Automobile. The American manufacturer argues that it already lowered the price of its entire range of vehicles in April. Only reserve for the first 250 orders that are formalized these days, the gift and free installation of a charger valued at 500 euros. Until June 30, it offers buyers of a Tesla Model X or Model S three years of free and unlimited charging at its Superchargers.
