BIKI, the public bicycle rental service in Valladolid, had these objectives when it was established on the streets of the city. Two months after its birth the service has turned out to be destined for success.
The service is breaking usage records in the city. Before the inauguration of BIKI, barely 300 daily trips were reached. Now there are more than 1,000 trips every day. And the trend is up.
Of course, BIKI has not yet reached its ceiling and Valladolid continues to increase its use every month. Both in number of subscribers and in number of journeys, the curve is positive. An affordable price and a well-planned service have been the keys for the city of Valladolid to pedal more every day.
