'The amazing Kasper Schmeichel has donated massive 20,000 pounds to our #LeicsCovidCara campaign, so we can buy omsorgspakker, phone calls and home visits, so that older people can feel safe and secure,' writes the association Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland on his Twitter profile.
Kasper Schmeichel is already behind the fund 'Fodboldfonden', who runs the social arrangemeneter for children in Denmark.
in Addition, he is also a part of the Manchester United star Juan Matas initiative 'Common Goal', where rich football players commit to donate at least one percent of his salary for charitable work in vulnerable areas.
In this regard, he said that there was a reason, that he shared out of his money:
- One of my biggest goal is not only to be remembered as a footballer.
- When I stop, I would like to continue with the kind of work and hopefully make a real difference for those who are less fortunate than me.
the Donation is not, however, something that really shakes Kasper Schmeichels economic foundation. He earns up to 50 million dollars per year in Leicester.
