Oslo prohibits the serving of alcohol

From the Saturday evening flowing beer is no longer in fadølshanerne in the Norwegian capital. Oslo has decided to ban the serving of alcohol because of coronasmittefare.

the City government in the Norwegian capital has determined that the sale of alcohol in restaurants and bars must stop from Saturday evening at 20.30.

the Ban comes, because several outlets have not complied with the rules of keeping distance to each other. This rule is introduced to limit coronasmitte.

- We are in a very serious situation, says erhvervsborgmester Victoria Marie Evensen to the tv station NRK.

- We must take care of each other and get control over smittesituationen. Unfortunately we see that those who are open, do not comply with the rules. So we need to introduce actions, she says.

It will still be allowed to serve food at the restaurants in Oslo.

Both the police and other authorities have in recent days been at around 650 out on the skaters in Oslo, which is still open, writes the news agency NTB.

This control will continue Saturday.
