Grand Prix-star in Italy: the Uncertainty is the worst

- the Uncertainty is the worst. We do not know when the bottom is reached. But otherwise we have it good. We live, after all, a relatively quiet and retired life here on the mountain.

Grand Prix-the veteran Søren Bundgaard together with girlfriend Helle for nearly seven years, lived to the north of Lucca in Italy. The area is - like other areas in the støvlelandet - hard hit by the coronavirussen.

- We have just eaten lunch with 35 degrees in the sun, and the budding spring around us. On the way, it is indeed hard to get in a bad mood.

But we can also see how hard coronafrygten has hit many down here. We must not run outside the municipality in our car unless we have a very special reason for it. There are police everywhere, which controls the driving.

Helle was the other day down in the shop to 'hoard', so we don't run completely out of food, if the worst should happen. Here she saw a lot of other customers fill their shopping carts. But there are still lots of goods on the shelves, reports the 63-year-old Grand Prix star.

Søren Bundgaard says, that there shall be a maximum of two clients at a time in the local shops in order to limit the smittefaren. Citizens can also get their medicine brought home to the place of residence, so they do not need to go to the doctor or at the pharmacy.

- Not least the many restaurants are hit hard. Some closes already at 18 o'clock now. While others have chosen to close completely. It has our firm pizzeria-restaurant is now done. It goes without saying that the owners are very unhappy about the situation. They ask, of course, as all of us: How long will this stuff last, and what is the worst that can happen?

The Danish couple communicates through local real estate the sale of properties in Tuscany.

- We can feel that the interest is decreased, because people do not dare to travel right now. But I am convinced that it is only a matter of time, then the customers back again. So on the way I am not afraid. The frustrating part is, as I said, that we do not know when the bottom is reached.

The well-known singer, composer and producer has spent the last few days to cut its merlot vines on the hillside.

- It is done under a beautiful blue sky. Of course, it is strange that it all can change with the snap. It is terrible that people die. I have seen, that the average age of the dead 81 years. As old I am, thankfully, not yet. But you can never feel entirely safe.

- you Have changed that behavior?

- Yes, at some points we have. We keep the distance to others, and we wash hands more often. But just because we live a little withdrawn, it has not been necessary with the really big changes, says Søren Bundgaard.

Søren Bundgaard says also that it is 'a bit weird', that is lockoutet.

- We can't just go home to Denmark for the moment. Fortunately, we have no plans for it. We were home six times around christmas time, so there is not some impending travel, which we have had to cancel.
