For the first time in 60 years: Las Vegas shuts down

the City, which, otherwise, always are lit up by its many casioner and nightclubs, are now being placed in the dark for the first time in roughly six decades.

It happens, after the governor of Nevada Steve Sisolak has ordered all non-essential businesses to shut down in the next month in Las Vegas and the rest of the state due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.

It informs the New York Post.

the Injunction came into force on Wednesday at noon american time, and applies to bars, cinemas, theatres, gyms, restaurants, casinos and amusement arcades, among other things.

More than ten american states have so far taken a similar injunction in order to limit the spread of the coronavirus.

the Last time the casinos in the world-famous spilleby closed down, was 25. november 1963 by John F. Kennedy's funeral.
