Danish diplomat in Iran infected with the coronavirus

Iran is among the countries worst hit by the coronavirus, and now it has emerged that a Danish diplomat is among those infected.

'the Ministry of foreign affairs informs that an employee who is seconded to the embassy in Tehran, confirmed infected with the coronavirus in connection with the planned repatriation to Denmark,' informs the Ministry of foreign affairs in a written reply to the media.

It is not apparent from the answer, where the dane is currently, as it is not known whether some of the person's colleagues or family members are in quarantine.
