Ximo Rovira returns to public TV to champion the star program of the new season

He had been away from public television since 2010, previously Channel 9 and now À Punt, and now he has returned through the front door to present what will be the big premiere of the season: an afternoon magazine called "Som de casa". At 62 years old, Ximo Rovira has pointed out that "now the management has placed confidence in me to present a format as special as the afternoon show, an exciting project in which we are putting our best efforts."

This morning the public channel presented its new programming, which has as its main novelties this magazine and the new season of "L'Alqueria blanca", a fiction classic that was already broadcast when Channel 9 existed. Rovira will be accompanied in this magazine by Gema Payà, until now a collaborator of "Tàp Zàping". The space will begin airing on October 9, the same day that the network's promotional campaign begins.

For the general director, Alfred Costa, with this program “we have recovered a veteran presenter in the network, very professional, like Ximo Rovira, who is from the house and very loved by the audience, who will direct an innovative format to build loyalty among those who They already see us and to convince those who still do not have us on their afternoon menu.”

'Som de casa' is a show, which will be in À Punt at 4:45 p.m. every afternoon from Monday to Friday until 7:00 p.m., which is committed to proximity from different points, opening the doors to current events, but from a Valencian aspect. His set, presented to the public this morning, represents colored doors through which many surprising, emotional, experiential, entertaining things will pass and, above all, about the people here, from home.

Arturo Orrico, executive producer of the program, has explained the general lines of the magazine, “a format that works very successfully on Galician television called Quen anda aí? and that has received the approval of the audience of this regional television.”
