Women of Wine is a project of the sommelier Meritxell Falgueras and the producer Anne-Joséphine Cannan. They want to "project the women involved in viticulture and winemaking, in addition to oenology, sommelier and communication, to weave synergies and make visible a role that is increasingly important in family wineries and in big brands ”.
The wineries that make up Mujeres del Vino are distributed with projects in Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, Galicia, Navarra, La Rioja, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha, Andalusia and the Canary Islands.
On the other hand, the Reial Cercle Artístic de Barcelona will host Wine and Jazz starting at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, where music and gastronomy will be paired with wines made by women or born in wineries led by women. Vallformosa, Juvé will participate
