In Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia we can contemplate the spectacle of the mists after the last nightly summer rains in Manlleu, in the Osona region.
In this first video we can see how the fog creates a whirlwind that covers everything, enveloping the town until it almost disappears.
In the second video we can see how, with the first light of day, the fog is also colored reddish.
In some areas of Osona, the mist (Pubilla de la Plana) is also known as "baixa joke". Basically, it's when a sea of fog comes down and covers everything.
It occurs above all in autumn when winter is approaching, although it must be taken into account that the Osona region is the place in Spain with the most foggy days, a hundred a year, and that, for example, this summer it is being very active at the level of fog generation in this part of Catalonia.
