Weekend for coffee and vermouth lovers

September says goodbye full of gastronomic events. Starting this Friday, La Farga de l'Hospitalet will host the first Forum Coffee Festival, a meeting that will bring together experts from the entire coffee value chain and to which lovers of this drink are also invited.

Until Sunday, you can attend tastings, presentations, round tables and talks by prominent voices in the sector. In parallel, more than 60 stands will exhibit the latest developments in machinery, both for hospitality and for domestic use, and the National Barista Pro Forum Cafè Championship will be held, where the best barista in the country will emerge. The organizers estimate to receive around 10,000 visitors and thus become the largest event in the country dedicated to this product.

Also this weekend there will be a festival with vermouth as the protagonist: Vermouth and Soul. From September 29 to October 1, the Moll de la Fusta in Port Vell will be the setting for this party that aims to highlight that long-awaited Sunday vermouth that can last well into the afternoon.

Some of the best-known vermouth brands will be there, which can be accompanied by multiple dishes. In addition, the gastronomic influencer @bravasbarcelona (Edu González) has organized a route with what he considers the best patatas bravas in the city. A wide range of workshops has just completed this beachfront meeting that will be enlivened with jazz, soul, blues, swing and DJ sessions.

To round out the weekend, Born Street Food will celebrate its 11th edition with more restaurants than ever. In Pla de Palau square in Ciutat Vella, the public will be able to try dishes from 18 establishments in the neighborhood, such as 7 Portes or Ikoya Izakaya. In addition to food, there will be activities for the little ones and lots of live music.
