Wave of support and enthusiasm on TikTok with Fernando Alonso after being 1st in training

Fernando Alonso smiles again, and that is cause for celebration in Spain. The Formula 1 driver has landed on his feet at Aston Martin and everything looks like this season, at last, he will be able to fight to do something great. He may not win the World Cup, but the legion of fans of the Asturian has gone crazy with the results that Alonso is getting so far.

The pilot came first in practice on Friday at the Bahrain F1 Grand Prix and there is no longer any way to contain the illusion. The Spaniard managed to cover the track in 1'30.907, something that has been impossible during all these years of misfortune. A lot of information is missing to know the actual performance of the AMR23, but, for the moment, it has been the best.

Even Antonio Lobato, a Formula 1 narrator who has been covering Alonso's achievements for many years and lamenting the lack of competitiveness, cannot help but be excited about Alonso and the Aston Martin, a car that does run and is reliable - the Alpine was not fast and it broke down every weekend -.

"Hey, no, enough is enough, this is not, in any way, unacceptable, leave me alone... This is a provocation to the little common sense I have left. They say that all the pilots who finished leaders in the first FP2 of the last years they were champions. Go to hell," the renowned communicator wrote on his Twitter account. So if this trend continues, Alonso would be the successor to Max Verstappen, who is currently the only driver who can be considered a rival.

They are no longer sensations, it is the numbers that allow us to dream of victory 33 and, if the results are coming, of something else. The enthusiasm can be seen on TikTok, Facebook, Twitter and in private WhatsApp conversations. The Plan didn't work, but the Mission can.

While the Alonsistas impatiently await the arrival of the race to corroborate any suspicion, since being first in training is not synonymous with winning, Alonso does not hesitate to enter the rag. The driver has been playing dumb for weeks, as if he doesn't know anything about what's going on both in the Aston Martin garage and among his loyal fans, but his smirk is a dead giveaway: he knows stuff. Even so, he is the only one who is cautious: "We have our feet on the ground."
