In The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia we can appreciate the abundant trees in this quiet neighborhood, La Roureda, located in the northern area of Sabadell, adjacent to open fields and with views of the La Mola mountain.
We can find several urban parks, sports areas and beautiful ground floor apartments with a magnificent interior garden. The municipal football field shared by VDF Roureda and Sabadell Rugby Club is located here.
Many of the streets in La Roureda have numbers related to Pre-Pyrenean mountains, such as Cadí, Pedraforca, La Molina, and Les Agudes.
It is located within the district of Ca n'Oriac, which owes its name to the old farmhouse with Gothic elements of the Oriac family, from 1578.
Sabadell City Council plans to soon implement the urban improvement plan for La Roureda, which will transform the neighborhood to provide it with a new square, surrounded by a large green area, in which subsidized housing will be built.
