It is located within the district of Ca n'Oriac, which owes its name to the old farmhouse with Gothic elements of the Oriac family, from 1578.
Sabadell City Council plans to soon implement the urban improvement plan for La Roureda, which will transform the neighborhood to provide it with a new square, surrounded by a large green area, in which subsidized housing will be built.
