Vueling has preventively canceled 76 flights due to the new day of cabin crew strike called by the Stavla union. Most of the cancellations, 36, are at the Barcelona-El Prat airport, where it will operate 144 of the 180 scheduled routes with origin or destination in the Catalan capital, 80 percent of those planned. At the state level, 90% of the scheduled routes will take off, 210 of 232.

In the whole of the operation of this December 11, Vueling will be able to take off 543 flights of the 619 planned, 88%. The company has ensured that 94 percent of those affected have already been relocated and have confirmed the alternative given, according to the airline in a statement.

The cabin crew strike called by the Stavla union began on November 1 and, if there is no agreement with the company, it is expected to last until January 31, every Monday, Friday, Sunday and public holiday. Stavla is the majority workers' organization among Vueling cabin crew and, according to the Ministry of Transport, about 2,250 employees are called to the protest.

The company expects to operate approximately 90% of the scheduled flights for the rest of the days of the strike.
