Vueling cancels 64 flights due to tomorrow's cabin crew strike

Vueling has canceled 64 flights for tomorrow, Sunday, preventively to minimize the effects of the new strike day for cabin crew and plans to operate a total of 495, which represents 89% of those scheduled.

The 64 canceled flights correspond to routes not protected by the minimum services regulation and the company has offered alternatives to affected customers, as explained by the airline this Saturday in a statement.

Thus, 91% of customers whose flight has been canceled have been relocated to other planes or have requested the voucher or refund, while 9% are still waiting for them to choose the option they prefer.

Tomorrow will be the third day of the cabin crew strike, called by the STAVLA union, the majority among this group of workers.

The union has called a strike every Friday, Sunday and Monday between November and January 31, 2023, in addition to November 1; December 6, 8, 24 and 31; and January 5.

At El Prat Airport, 82% of the flights scheduled by Vueling will operate normally tomorrow, while in the rest of Spain the percentage reaches 91% and on the international scene, 90%.
