Villacís, director of institutional relations of a cybersecurity company

The former vice mayor of Madrid Begoña Villacís will be the new director of institutional relations of the cybersecurity company BeDisruptive, in which she will be in charge of being the link between the company and public administrations, organizations and private entities.

Villacís, vice mayor of the capital during the coalition government of PP and Ciudadanos (2019-2023), opted during her time in the municipal government to promote the City Council's actions in terms of innovation and entrepreneurship.

During the mandate of PP and Cs, he led the Cybersecurity Cluster project, in which universities, specialized consultancies and industry associations participate with the aim of strengthening training in this field.

After the May 28 elections, in which his candidacy with Ciudadanos failed to get representation in the municipal Corporation, Villacís expressed his desire to abandon politics and return to activity in the private sector.

Graduated in Law, she was a spokesperson for Ciudadanos in the 2015-2019 term and during the municipal government of which she was a part, she coordinated the Urban Development areas; Economy, Employment and Innovation; Families, Equality and Social Welfare and the delegated areas of International and Transparency and Territorial Coordination.
