After almost a month of waiting, the investigative court 3 of Aranjuez yesterday informed the family of Víctor Tapiador that the mortal remains of the young man, who disappeared on March 8 and whose body was found on August 29, were being delivered. .
This is the information that the family's lawyer, Juan Manuel Medina, received just a few days after the family released a statement to denounce that they did not know which morgue the young man's body was in or when they would be able to say goodbye to him.
Following this public complaint, the court has announced that Víctor's mortal remains would be delivered yesterday to the family so that they can proceed with his cremation.
In its statement, the family highlighted the "dehumanization" of justice, bureaucracy and the lack of empathy and hoped that their complaint would serve to study improvements in procedures "so painful for the people who suffer them," who need "close and truthful information" to mitigate their pain.
The family, who for months believed that there had been third parties involved in Víctor's disappearance, explained that the police informed them on August 29 that he had been found in a field next to a high-voltage tower, near Mar de Ontígola, the body that could be Victor.
Fourteen days later, the judicial police confirmed that it was the young man and told them that all the documentation was already in the hands of the court, in charge of addressing them from that moment on, something that had not happened.
