Two people arrested for a homophobic attack in Nou Barris

The Mossos have arrested a 34-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman for attacking, harassing and stealing a cap from a couple of two girls in Nou Barris.

The events occurred on September 11 at four in the morning on Artesanía Street. According to the victims' story, those arrested beat them with an extendable baton and punched them because of their sexual condition.

They pointed out that they rebuked and insulted them, making direct reference to the fact that they were homosexuals. One of the attacked alerted the police, who located and arrested the perpetrators shortly after.

The Mossos accuse them of one crime of injuries, one of robbery with violence and intimidation and one against the exercise of fundamental rights and public freedoms.

The arrested man has 22 criminal records, most of them for robbery, while the woman has two.
