Two of the four people who have been injured in a multiple collision in Vilaboa (Pontevedra), when a car left the road and broke into the terrace of a bar, have died after being evacuated to the hospital in serious condition.
Specifically, the deceased are a 79-year-old man (L.R.C.) and another 67 (A.D.B.), sources from the Civil Guard inform Europa Press, confirming that the driver of the vehicle involved has given a negative breathalyzer test.
According to data from 112 and the Armed Institute, the accident occurred around 5:00 p.m. this Friday, at kilometer 0 of the N-554.
The event occurred when the driver of the car involved lost control of the vehicle while trying to park it and ended up colliding with the tables of the Chancho bar, in Santa Cristina de Cobres, leaving four people injured.
However, the two men, aged 79 and 67, who had been most seriously ill, died after being transferred to the Álvaro Cunqueiro de Vigo and Montecelo de Pontevedra hospitals. The other two injuries were of a milder nature.
The 112 gave notice of what happened to the Local Police, the Civil Traffic Guard, the Soutomaior Civil Protection and the Morrazo Fire Department, as well as the road maintenance services. For its part, Sanitary Emergencies 061 mobilized three ambulances, two of them for advanced life support.
