Twist in the case of Daniel Sancho: a man denounces Edwin Arrieta for harassment and assault

The case of the murder of Edwin Arrieta allegedly at the hands of Daniel Sancho continues to be talked about in all the media. At the beginning of August we learned the news that the Spanish chef had confessed to the crime and the dismemberment of the well-known Colombian surgeon on an island in Thailand.

Since then Sancho remains in Koh Samui prison awaiting the trial. For its part, the Thai police are working on the investigation report and everything seems to indicate that it will be delivered to the Prosecutor's Office this September.

The high-profile case continues to make headlines in many media outlets and every day new information about this heinous crime continues to come to light. This same Monday, the Antena 3 program And Now Sonsoles has once again given a new exclusive. On this occasion, the space team presented by Sonsoles Ónega has been able to speak exclusively with a new witness who could turn the event around one hundred and eighty degrees.

This is Luis, a man who would be key in the case of Daniel Sancho. The events would date back to 2005, when this man would have filed a complaint against the Colombian surgeon, since she supposedly had an obsession with him, to the point of having beaten him right at the door of her house. ''He showed interest in me from the first day,'' said the complainant.

Moments later, the program exclusively broadcast part of the statements of the man who knew Edwin Arrieta. ''I met him in a bar. He came up to offer me a drink and I said no. I start to get scared when he exaggerates on calls. When he doesn't understand what a no is, I really didn't want to be friends with him, nor did I want anything with him,' she confessed. He even stated that the surgeon would have called him 143 times in one day.

''He blackmailed me by talking to my family, that things were going to happen to me, that he was going to send me to people, that I had people following me,'' he declared. ''On my hand I have a scar from a bite that he gave me in one of his attacks. I felt identified with Daniel when I saw the news. "Either he would have killed me, or I would have killed him," he confessed.
