Once again the Super Bowl was again a real party and a sporting spectacle. However, one of the most exciting moments of the day was carried out by Travis and Jason Kelce, the first pair of brothers to face each other in a Super Bowl. Both, visibly moved, hugged at the end of the meeting. “Fuck you, congratulations,” Jason, the oldest, told Travis.
The youngest of the Kelce could not hold back the tears when talking about his brother in the press room. “I couldn't tell him much in a situation like that. You joke a lot that you want to win over your brother in such a scenario, but it's a strange feeling. They are a great team, everything has been decided in the end and the Eagles deserve respect. There is not much I can tell him other than that I love him and that he has had a great season."
In the game both were important for their respective teams. Travis had 81 yards and a touchdown, while Jason did his best to protect the quarterback from him. After the match, the Eagles man was the last Philadelphia player to leave the pitch, and he did not want to miss the moment when his brother raised the Vince Lombardi trophy.
Also at the game was Donna Kelce, the mother of both players, who dressed for the occasion: half of her jacket, her pants and one of her sneakers were black with the Eagles script written on it, while the the other half was red and featured the Kansas City Chiefs crest. After the match she went down to the field to comfort Jason and congratulate Travis.
