This Thursday, September 1, the twelfth stage of the Vuelta a España 2022 will be held. The cyclists will travel a total of 192.7 kilometers between Salobreña and the Peñas Blancas de Estepona. The Belgian Remco Evenepoel continues to lead the general classification, ahead of Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma) and the Spanish Enric Mas (Movistar Team).
It is a totally flat route until the ascent to Peñas Blancas. Although it is a climb that has already been climbed in La Vuelta, in 2022 four more kilometers will be added, for a total of 20. A very tough finish, which can wreak havoc on the general classification.
Stage 12 of La Vuelta a España 2022 will take place this Thursday, September 1, starting at 12:25 p.m. Runners are expected to arrive at the finish line at 5:40 p.m. The race can be seen live on Teledeporte and Eurosport. It can also be followed through the La Vanguardia website.
