This Wednesday, July 6, one of the toughest stages of the week of the 2022 Tour de France begins. Lille Métropole will be the starting point of the fifth stage of the competition and the finish line will be located at Arenberg Porte du Hainaut. In total, the cyclists will travel 153.7 kilometers. The race will be full of cobblestone sections.

The Belgian Wout Van Aert (Jumbo-Visma) won this Tuesday in the fourth stage of the Tour de France. The second to reach the finish line was his compatriot Jasper Philipsen, followed by Christopher Laporte.

The cyclists will leave from Lille Métropole to Arenberg Porte du Hainaut, and will cover a total of 153.7 kilometres. This is one of the toughest stages of the week, as the race will be full of cobbled sections. The last one is 1,600 meters long and will be located 8 kilometers from the finish line.

The fifth stage of the Tour de France will take place this Wednesday, July 6, starting at 1:35 p.m. The cyclists will cover a total of 153.7 kilometers. The 21 stages can be seen live on Teledeporte and RTVE Play, with narration by Carlos de Andrés and comments by former cyclist Perico Delgado.
