'Thriller', the best-selling album in history

The African-American Michael Jackson was only 24 years old when, with Thriller, his sixth solo album, he became the king of pop. Behind him were his first steps with his family, the famous Jackson Five. This was his moment. Produced by Quincy Jones and with royal collaborators such as ex-beatle Paul McCartney, Michael Jackson signed seven of his nine compositions, with the aim that each one "is a murder".

In pursuit of this, Jones signed the terrifying Vincent Price, who recited the last phrases of the song that gives the album its name. 70 million copies sold attest to the magnitude of its chilling success. His subsequent staging in 1983 in a video clip in which Jackson displayed his talent for dancing made Thriller the most watched song on the planet.
