Three 'skinheads' arrested accused of breaking into a mosque in Vila-real between threats

National Police agents have arrested three people belonging to radical movements after allegedly breaking into a mosque in Vila-real (Castellón) at prayer time, where they began to make threats.

Those arrested, who exhibited tattoos identifiable with the 'skinhead' movement, are accused of alleged hate crimes and trespassing of a legal person's home.

Apparently, one of the alleged perpetrators had previously had a fight with several young people of North African origin in which an item of clothing was damaged, according to a statement from the National Police.

For this reason, those now detained went to the mosque to demand payment for the damages that one of them had allegedly suffered during the fight. They allegedly entered the mosque shouting and threatening to "blow up" the temple if their demands were not met.

The 'skinheads' prevented the start of the prayer and remained inside despite the fact that the attendees repeatedly asked them to leave the facilities, as explained by the National Police.

Those arrested "refused to leave and maintained an aggressive attitude towards those present at all times, threatening to go to the mosque every day if their demands were not met", and they left the mosque "only when they noticed the arrival of indicative of the National Police", according to the security forces. Two of the detainees had been involved in similar incidents before.
