This weekend three festivals with local line-ups and alternative musical proposals are offered in the Barcelona metropolitan area. From October 6 to 9, you can enjoy everything from Catalan indie/rock bands to instrumental music or more politicized groups in Hospitalet and Prat del Llobregat.
The Fanàtik Festival opens in the Salamandra Hall of Hospitalet del Llobregat on October 7 and 8. The ten invited groups represent the Catalan musical fabric and among the proposals are both emerging groups and more established artists, to offer a new and attractive line-up. On its first day, Fanàtik will focus on rock and indie/pop with Mishima, Guineu, Anna Andreu and Júlia Blum. Instead, on the second day, urban music will take over with Flashy Ice Cream, P.A.W.N. Gang, Julieta, Jazzwoman, 7Th Basement and Carla Figo.
The day ticket costs 21 euros, while the full ticket costs 38 euros.
This year the AMFest returns, the "noisy and uncomfortable" music festival, as it is defined. The event for fans of instrumental music, one of the most unique festivals in Catalonia, has a line-up with groups like Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Cult Of Luna, Caspian or A. A. Williams. For this edition, the festival opens at La Farga del Hospitalet and its noisy proposals will resound from October 6 to 9.
Day tickets range between 25 and 35 euros.
The Esperanzha Festival is also back, the cooperative and non-profit project that aims to unite people, groups and entities. This year the poster continues in its line and has protesting bands such as Tribade, Smoking Souls, Tremenda Jauría, Auxili or Maio. The Festival will occupy the Parc Nou del Prat de Llobregat from October 7 to 9. The ticket offer has different prices that range between 18 (day tickets), 35 (tickets for three days) and 60 euros (family packs).
