This Monday, during the last installment of MasterChef Celebrity, TVE made a stop along the way to present the official video clip of TOKE, the song that Chanel interprets to accompany and encourage the Spanish team on its way to the World Cup in Qatar.
The expectation was maximum to hear the song in its entirety and see the singer in motion. With the bar set high thanks to SloMo, her first hit and that third place finish at Eurovision 2022, viewers wondered if some elements of her hit would be repeated. In the images we can see a very sensual Chanel, in a song with very urban rhythms, with a new choreography for dance break and with continuous references to La Roja both in her lyrics and in the visual context of the video clip.
TOKE's video clip "is explosive, dynamic and very urban", with a Chanel that "gives everything and demonstrates once again why she is one of the most powerful stars on the Spanish music scene", explains RTVE in an official statement. It is a "tune to dance, to enjoy and also to cheer up", says the singer herself.
The Hispanic-Cuban shows herself again, as she did in SloMo, as a sexy and empowered woman. In fact, one of the most striking scenes in the video clip occurs when Chanel appears inside a car while a crowd of people shakes it incessantly. Here, the artist does not lose her temper at any time, she "eats the camera while she goes over her lips with a look that seduces and catches".
The video clip consists of four scenes and, in each of them, Chanel wears four completely different looks. On the esplanade of a scrapyard, the performer wears a spectacular corset in warm tones that resembles the colors of La Roja, the same one that she wears in the image of the cover of the single for the premiere of her new song; In a concrete warehouse where she dances on the gravel, she wears a ripped bodysuit that plays at dressing and undressing her skin.
