Four citizens residing in Navarra handed over to the National Police 2,160 euros, a Christmas lottery ticket and a bank account that they had found in a bar in the Valladolid neighborhood of La Rondilla.
The discovery occurred on September 26 around 12:30 p.m., when in a bar in the aforementioned neighborhood, four people found a bank book on the floor of the premises, inside which there were 2,160 euros and a tenth from the Christmas lottery, according to reports. The National Police reported in a statement collected by Europa Press.
After asking one of the establishment's workers if he knew the holder of the card and informing them that he did not know him, they went to a National Police Station to hand over everything they found.
The agents, after carrying out the appropriate procedures, located the legitimate owner and handed it over, which is why he thanked and highlighted the gesture of these citizens, since actions like this are "worthy of mention and recognition."
