Mossos d'Esquadra of the Investigation Unit of the Arenys de Mar police station and the Local Police of Pineda de Mar (Maresme), have arrested a 41-year-old man accused of a crime against public health, in addition to the crimes of fraud of electrical fluid and drinking water supply.
The arrest is the result of an investigation that has made it possible to dismantle a cocaine sales point in Pineda de Mar. Inside the home, 233 grams of cocaine have been seized, which on the market would have an approximate value of 14,374 euros. Some of this substance was ready for distribution, packaged in more than sixty doses.
21,181 euros in cash, two precision scales and other objects such as mobile phones, scooters and electric bicycles have also been seized, which remains to be determined if they are listed as stolen. Likewise, a long, sharp sword-type knife has been intervened.
Upon entering the detainee's home, it has been verified that fraud was also carried out on the electricity supply and the drinking water supply.
