A criminal group robbed a hostess club in Benidorm and detained several workers and clients, handcuffing them with zip ties and hitting them with baseball bats, in addition to threatening them with a firearm. All for a loot of 7,700 euros and several mobile phones

According to the National Police, there are six detainees who are accused of the crimes of robbery with violence, illegal detention and membership in a criminal group.

The investigation began last March after some victims called the 091 Room in which they reported having been victims of a robbery. The events occurred in a hostess club in Benidorm, where a criminal group entered the premises carrying firearms.

Among the victims of the premises were the manager of the establishment, a waitress, three escort girls, two clients and one of the detainees, the latter worked as a doorman and usually spent the night in a room attached to the club.

After a seven-month investigation, and once the vehicles used for the assault were detected, the Police were able to determine the participation of five people in the events as material authors, as well as the existence of two people whom they accuse of providing the necessary information. to carry out the robbery: the nightclub doorman and his brother.

Once all the evidence was gathered, several homes were entered and searched, proceeding to the arrest of all the members of the criminal group and seizing the clothing worn by them on the day of the robbery, and the mobile phones stolen from a of the victims.

The investigation has also revealed that the criminal group was planning to carry out a "turnover" of a marijuana plantation to a trafficker, as well as the robbery of a villa in Mallorca, in which a Russian citizen kept a significant amount of money.

After being brought to justice, four of the six detainees were placed in provisional prison, pending the arrest of one of the perpetrators who is currently not in Spanish territory.
