The Second Section of the Provincial Court is holding between this Tuesday and this Wednesday (10:00 am) the trial against four men accused of a group rape of a minor in a home in Palma and for whom the Prosecutor demands sentences totaling 240 years in prison for sexual assault and collaboration.
Specifically, the Public Ministry asks for each of them 15 years for their respective attacks and another 45 for collaborating in the actions of the other three. In addition, one of them faces an additional seven years in prison for the crime of promoting prostitution, given that he allegedly offered to sell the victim for 1,000 euros to engage in prostitution.
According to the statement of conclusions, the events occurred on the night of January 8, 2016 at the home of one of the defendants, in the Polígono de Levante, in Palma, in conjunction with two minors and having full knowledge of the age of the youngest, who was 15 years old at the time.
Apparently, the victim was with another minor in a room of the home, to which, with libidinous spirit, all the defendants accessed. When she refused to let them be there, the minor kicked them out and locked the door.
However, the defendants managed to open it from the outside with a stick and gain access, telling the victim that she had to have sexual relations with all of them and although she stated that she did not want to and insisted on her refusal, she adopted an attitude of submission, doing what the defendants told her. They told him what to do in the face of the anguish and intense burden that the situation caused him and aware of the futility of any resistance.
Finally, according to the Prosecutor, while the minor closed her eyes, all the defendants proceeded to touch her body, penetrate her vaginally and orally, and thus while one penetrated her vaginally, she performed fellatio on another, repeating this action with all the accused successively, remaining in a state of shock at the end.
The next day, January 9, 2016, the defendants sent an audio message to the victim, in which they told her “listen to me about the 7 boys that we penetrated, which one did you like the most.”
The adult defendant also offered to sell the victim for 1,000 euros to another man to practice prostitution, both reaching an agreement to share the profits she obtained, with the defendant keeping 40 percent of what she earned. of what he would give a certain percentage to the other. The agreement did not materialize nor did the minor engage in prostitution.
As a consequence of such events, the minor has received psychological treatment.
In terms of civil liability, the Prosecutor’s Office asks the accused to jointly and severally compensate the victim in the amount of 100,000 euros for the moral damages suffered.
