The Generalitat Bombers, with the support of the Mossos d'Esquadra and local agents, are looking for a man who reportedly fell into the Ebro river last night, in the town of Móra d'Ebre (Tarragona).
As the Diari de Tarragona has advanced this Sunday and sources from the Generalitat Fire Department have confirmed to Efe, a witness raised the alarm around midnight yesterday that he had seen a person fall into the water from a rocky area.
After receiving the notice, the Generalitat Fire Department deployed a large unit, which was maintained until almost three in the morning, to search for this man who had fallen into the Ebro, although without success.
This morning the search work for this missing man has been resumed, tracing the channel and the banks of the river.
The Generalitat Fire Department has deployed 16 units of the body in the area, including members of the Special Actions Group (GRAE), the canine search and rescue unit, and the scuba divers, to which a helicopter has been added.
The Mossos d'Esquadra have also activated their canine unit, in addition to citizen security agents to participate in the search tasks, according to Efe sources from the body
