The Local Police of Bisbal d'Empordà and the Mossos d'Esquadra are investigating a man for allegedly stealing olive oil in various formats, quantities and brands.
The agents identified a vehicle that was parked incorrectly at the exit of a supermarket in the capital of Baix Empordà and inside they saw bags full of products.
After a while, a man who is not a resident of the municipality arrived and was identified. He had several previous convictions for theft.
The man lacked purchase receipts for all the oil products he had in the car and justified that he came from Lleida and all the oil was part of a collective purchase with friends.
The agents kept all the products and informed the man that he was being investigated for a minor crime of theft. Meanwhile, the Local Police and the Mossos d'Esquadra are finding out which supermarkets he would have stolen all the oil from.
