The White Summer closes with 35,000 attendees

Indie rock from Arde Bogotá was in charge of closing the White Summer Festival last night, one of the most established summer events on the Costa Brava, since it has eleven seasons behind it. In this edition, 35,000 attendees –an average of 3,000 per day– have attended the musical event, which began on August 4 with the family concert 'Les aventures de Geronimo Stilton' and which ended yesterday with the presentation of the new album by the Murcian band, Cowboys de la A3.

After a decade in Pals, the event has moved this summer to Palamós, where it has opened a new stage thanks to the music promoter Clipper's, responsible for festivals such as Cap Roig, the Summer Fest Cerdanya or the Suite Festival.

The mayor of Palamós, Lluís Puig, expressed that from the consistory “we value this first edition very positively, which allows us to continue expanding the leisure offer. We are committed to maintaining this event for many years in our municipality. For her part, Vanessa Llopart, CEO of Clipper's, said that "the success of this edition underscores the ability of this event to adapt to new scenarios without compromising its essence."

Throughout twelve days, the public has enjoyed 25 musical performances by Delafé y las Flores Azules, Suu, Ladilla Rusa, Figa Flawas and Brodas Bros, among others. In addition to live music, attendees have delighted in a wide range of outdoor gastronomy, fashion in the already traditional 'summer market', as well as a careful selection of performing arts by the Pablo Méndez Performances company.

Aware that this is a festival for the whole family, the organizers also scheduled workshops and games where the little ones enjoyed the rhythm of live music.
