The White Summer celebrates cultural diversity on its tenth anniversary

White Summer, one of the summer festivals on the Costa Brava, kicks off today. And it does so with a great party that celebrates cultural and African diversity, hand in hand with La Familia Tambedou and in collaboration with the Fundació La Caixa. This family of giant African puppets has set out to make the attendees vibrate and encourage them to dance to the rhythm of the percussion to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the event in style.

Africa will continue to be present during the day with the parade of African-American and Afro-descendant designers and also with the first major concert of the season, that of the Malian musical duo Amadou

No less important is the 'market', the famous flea market that always accompanies this event and that will allow you to discover nearly eighty brands and projects with soul. Or gastronomy, another of the key ingredients, which this year has been entrusted to ALL THOSE.

It should also be noted that this year the festival continues with its strong commitment to art, with an artistic program that will awaken performances, artistic installations, dance, magic, clowning and acrobatics every afternoon.

This edition consolidates a new direction with Ariadna Barthe at the helm, who has set out to follow in the footsteps of her mother, the founder Miryam Cuatrecasas, as well as to conceptualize a new way of conceptualizing this unique experience in format and content. And it is that what was born to be a summer market, has become a much broader festival.

Tickets are on sale and Club Vanguardia members will have a 15% discount for the first 50 tickets for each concert.
