The Valencian Courts propose to raise the salary of deputies by 4% in 2023

The draft law of the Budgets of Les Corts Valencianes for 2023 foresees an increase of 4.01% of the basic and complementary remuneration of the deputies. A variation that in absolute terms will mean an increase of 230,000 euros.

Sources from the regional Chamber point out that it is an economic forecast that includes a salary increase equivalent to that of officials agreed at the state level (1.5% in 2022 and 2.5% in 2023). Now it is missing, the same sources comment, that these figures are approved by the parliamentary groups in the Interior Government commission that will meet next Wednesday.

The approved text would be sent to the Valencian Government so that it could be included in the Budget of the Generalitat that is currently being drawn up.
