The tribute that nobody saw coming from Carlos III to Tina Turner: "Simply the best"

Singer and actress Tina Turner passed away on Wednesday May 17 at the age of 83 at her home in Küsnacht, Switzerland, after battling a long illness. Since then, the tributes to the artist have not ceased.

King Carlos III has joined the long list of tributes that have been paid to Tina Turner during these days. In the case of Camila Parker's husband, he has allowed a tribute to the singer's memory to be organized at Buckingham Palace.

It was her spokesperson who confirmed the sad news through social networks: "It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Turner. With her music and her boundless passion for life, she captivated millions of fans around the world and inspired to the stars of tomorrow."

On Friday, Charles III stunned all Tina Turner fans by giving his consent for a proper tribute to the Queen of Rock 'n' Roll to be made on the forecourt of one of her London residences, Buckingham Palace.

The tribute to Turner was performed during the changing of the guard. The tribute only lasted a few minutes but it was really emotional because The Best was played, one of the most iconic songs in the artist's repertoire.

The song was performed by the Welsh Guards Band and the First Battalion Welsh Guards Corps of Drums, one of the brass bands within British Army music. It should be noted that, when it took place during the changing of the guard, dozens of tourists and followers of Tina Turner were able to enjoy it.
