The treasure of spring in the Serra d'Almos

Magnificent spectacle offered by the flowering fields of the Serra d'Almos, in the Terres de l'Ebre, near Tivissa. Enjoying images like the ones we see now in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia is for a limited time, but, if there is an occasion, it is a little-known wonder that should not be missed.

We are located to the southeast of the Ribera d'Ebre region, in a landscape closely linked to Priorat. These blooming fields are located 6 km from Tivissa, and 4 km from Darmós, next to the Tartacó ravine.

La Serra d'Almos is a town added to the municipality of Tivissa and constituted as a Decentralized Municipal Entity.

Before entering the town through the Guiamets and crossing the bridge, we can find the old washing places now restored. Up the ravine is the old flour mill.

Near the Fontvella recreational area there is a recreation area with tables and grills, as well as the place that supplies water to the town and that irrigates the orchards located in the Tartaco riverbed and that creates this flowery landscape in spring.

Other elements of interest are the parish church of Sant Domènec, the Mas d'Alerany (18th century), the Coll del Moro farm, hiking in the Serra del Montalt and dry stone constructions.
