The T-Jove is extended up to 30 years

The quarterly unlimited travel card for those under 25 years of age will be extended to young people up to 30, as announced by the President of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonés, in the general policy debate that is taking place this Tuesday in the Parliament of Catalonia.

In this way, the number of potential users of the ticket will be increased, which allows unlimited travel on public transport for 90 days. The T-Jove in one area costs 40 euros, although since September 1 it has been discounted to 50% as part of the price reduction policy of the Government and the Autoritat del Transport Metropolità (ATM).

The measure will be applied from next year and will cost the public coffers an additional 30 million euros. It will do so at a time when public transport is in serious financial trouble due to the reduction in income derived from the free Rodalies and the increase in costs due to the rise in energy prices.
