The strike at Ryanair causes the cancellation of 42 flights and delays in another 58, until 1:00 p.m.

Until 1:00 p.m., 42 flights have been canceled with origin or destination Spanish airports on the third day of the Ryanair cabin crew strike. There have also been at least 58 flights with delayed departure from the 10 bases that the airline has in Spain, according to the USO union.

The Ryanair crew strike has forced the company this Sunday to cancel twelve flights to or from Barcelona and to delay eight at El Prat Airport and four at Girona, according to data from the USO, one of the callers of the strike.

This Sunday, Terminal 1, from which Vueling, the main company in Barcelona, ​​operates, was buzzing with activity before 5:00 in the morning, with long queues at the check-in counters, although they moved quickly.

At the same time, ten flights of the Ryanair company have registered delays at the airports of Alicante and Valencia on the third day of the cabin crew strike, as reported by USO, one of the unions calling the strike, with data up to 1:00 p.m. this Sunday.

This third day of strike by the Ryanair crew in Spain coincides today with the strikes also called in Portugal, Belgium and France.

The first of six days of strike began on Friday (June 24, 25, 26 and 30, and July 1 and 2) called by the USO and Sitcpla unions to pressure Ryanair to apply basic labor rights and court rulings, and to achieve an agreement and decent working conditions for the entire workforce, according to the centrals.

The 1,890 workers belonging to Ryanair and the Crewlink and Workforce recruitment agencies of the ten Spanish bases are called to strike: Madrid, Malaga, Barcelona, ​​Alicante, Seville, Palma de Mallorca, Valencia, Girona, Santiago de Compostela and Ibiza.
