The schedules for the Final Four of the Spanish Super Cup 2024 are now known. The Royal Spanish Football Federation has announced this afternoon the schedule of the three matches that will be played in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh). The tournament will begin on Wednesday, January 10 with a Madrid derby, Real Madrid- Atlético de Madrid, at 8:00 p.m.
In the second semi-final, which will be played a day later (January 11), Barça and Osasuna will face each other at the same time. Finally, the champion will be decided between the two winners of both matches in the final on Sunday, the 14th, also at 8:00 p.m.
Likewise, the venue for all the 2024 Super Cup matches is confirmed, the Al-Awwal Park Stadium in the Saudi capital: the field where Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr plays and which has a capacity of 25,000 people. Therefore, no confrontation will be played at King Fahd, the stadium that hosted the 2023 and 2022 Super Cup with capacity for 68,752 spectators.
Xavi Hernández’s team reaches the 2024 Super Cup as current champions, after defeating Real Madrid (1-3) in the final of the last edition and winning the first title for the Egarense coach as coach of Barça. For its part, Club Atlético Osasuna got the ticket to Riyadh as runners-up in the Copa del Rey, since they lost the national title against the merengues (2-1).
Ancelotti’s men lifted the Cup last season for the twentieth time in their history and will seek to repeat the feat in this edition. To do this, they must overcome Atlético de Madrid in the first semifinal: qualified for the Super Cup as third place in LaLiga 2022-23.
