The PSOE has received the support of PP and Vox to approve the urgent processing of the reform of the Law on the Comprehensive Guarantee of Sexual Freedom, known as the 'only yes is yes' law, at the Congress Table, while its partner of Government, Unidas Podemos, voted in favor of the qualification of the law but has abstained from voting on the qualification of urgency.

In any case, this urgent processing will take two weeks, because the socialists have not had the unanimity required in the Board of Spokespersons to modify the agenda for the plenary session next Tuesday 21, so they will have to wait at least until March 7 to start the debate on the modification. The Socialists appealed to the quota of Esquerra initiatives, since they did not have their own quota, but neither ERC nor Eh-Bildu have endorsed the modification of the agenda.

However, from the confederal group, the deputy of the commons Aina Vidal has reiterated that Unidas Podemos will support the reform if in the negotiation of the amendments it is possible to shield consent as the core of the law and a regressive reform that in practice is avoided return to the previous penal model.

From Esquerra, its spokesman Gabriel Rufián once again expressed his support for the reform of the law, but indicated that in no case would the Republican group support a reform text that does not have the congratulations of the minority partner, that is, United We Can. In a similar vein, the spokesman for Más País, Íñigo Errejón, expressed himself, reiterating his demand from last week: that the reform must have the unanimous endorsement of "the entire Government."

Oskar Matute, from EH-Bildu, has not advanced the direction of his group's vote either, although he has reiterated, in a similar sense to what was expressed by the confederal group of United We Can, that the abertzale formation would not support a reform that is regressive and returns to the previous penal model.

Regarding Vox's support for both the qualification in the Table and the urgent processing, its spokesman, Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, explained at a press conference that every time "this government is only right when it rectifies", his group supported the urgency of the reform. However, Espinosa de los Monteros stressed that to Vox "the whole law seems to us an aberration."
