The rainfall has caused, among other incidents, the flooding of the underpass of the Algemesí Cercanías train station, on line C2, which has forced travelers from València Nord to Algemesí to transfer to another train on the Alzira station, while the trains originating in Xativa and arriving at València Nord have been able to circulate normally. However, at this time the incident has been resolved and the trains are now running normally at this step.

According to the State Meteorological Agency in the Valencian Community (AEMET), the rainfall has been of "torrential intensity" between 4 and 6 in the morning in La Ribera, between Algemesí, Albalat de la Ribera, Polinyà and Sueca, with accumulated between 150 and 200 l/m2, of which between 80 and 90 liters have fallen in less than an hour.

The Unió Llauradora i Ramadera assured yesterday that the wind and hail on Tuesday affected a radius of more than 18,000 hectares of crops and estimates the losses, "in a first emergency evaluation", at more than 8.6 million euros.

For its part, although Ava-Asaja did not put a figure on this matter, it does observe a 100% impact on persimmon fields in Quatretonda and negative effects on citrus, avocados, vineyards, almonds and olive groves due to blows to the fruit that depreciate its value. commercial, generate defoliation of trees and even the uprooting of young seedlings. The water also caused damage to rural roads, walls and other infrastructure. The most affected municipal areas were Burriana, Betxí, Nules and La Vilavella.
