The PSC accuses the Maresme Regional Council of losing 2.5 million European funds

Harsh criticism from the Maresme socialists of the management of the Regional Council shared by ERC and Junts per Catalunya. They assure that in this mandate momentum has been lost in projects necessary for the region, such as the more than 2.5 million European funds that "were lost due to inaction and negligence" or the lack of coordination in matters such as security or Zero investment in healthcare, such as the Calella Hospital and the Mataró Hospital, with pending investments that are not claimed.

In return, the Socialists accuse, the regional government has devoted efforts to the acquisition of new spaces and to maintaining a disproportionate growth that does not meet the real needs of the municipalities. The same, they point out, happens with the proposal of services that they propose, which lack technical and legal support, such as the Fundació per la gestió d'Habitatges, which is not endowed with competences, without capacity and "without the support of the town halls”.

From the PSC they criticize that, by not having their own resources and waiting for the more than three million of the budget of the Generalitat, the Consell Comarcal, affects the deficit in the municipalities. They further announce that "we are willing to go as far as possible to ensure that the budget is in line with reality."
